Agreement between NALGA and Social Golf Australia

NALGA and Social Golf Australia (SGA) have agreed to promote their respective organisations for the mutual benefit of both organisations and their members.

As a consequence of this Agreement,

SGA will:

  • Promote SGA to NALGA members by including on their website reference to, and information about SGA, including a link to the SGA website.
  • Promote SGA to NALGA members by including reference to SGGA in Newsletters distributed to NALGA members.
The benefits to members of NALG and SGA include:
  • For SGA members joining NALGA, NALGA membership will allow them to play in regular NALGA Division events within Australia, NALGA National Championships held annually in various locations in Australia, WALGA World Championships held biannually in various WALGA affiliated countries, and the National Championships of WALGA Countries throughout the world. While NALGA is an organisation for Left Handed Golfers, there is the opportunity for Right Handed Golfers to become associate members of NALGA to enable them to play regularly in NALGA events with their LH friends/partners.
  • For NALGA members joining SGA, SGA membership will allow them to maintain a Golf Australia handicap for a fee of $90 annually, play in SGA organised events throughout Australia and selected international locations, particularly in the South Pacific. Membership of SGA provides coverage through Golf Australia's Personal Insurance Plan (PIP) which includes 3rd party liability insurance. Note that limits apply to the insurance cover

Social Golf Australia (SGA) is a golf service provider offering official golf handicaps and golf events. SGA was a social golf club founded in 2004 that evolved into a family business run by golfers, for golfers, with a focus on friendly personal service. SGA currently has in excess of 3000 members across Australia.
